Screw Bottom Long Bombilla
What is a bombilla? Pronounced bawm-bee-yah
This bombilla is made out of a metal amalgam called alpaca.
Basically, a bombilla, is a metal straw used to sip yerba. One end is the mouth piece and the other end is placed in the leaves and is used as a strainer to filter out the yerba leaves.
There are many types of bombillas. Some have shapes like spoons, with small holes as filters, others have have more sophisticated mechanisms, with multiple layers of filters, such as the double action bombilla.
Our spiral long bombilla is made out of one piece of stainless steel so there is little chance of breakage. It is 7.5 inches long.
We have a curated collection of stainless steel bombillas used to strain or filter the yerba mate leaves. They are dishwasher safe and will last for years.
Our company believes that it is important to give back to the community. That is why all of our yerba is organic and sourced from family farms that care about our environment. It is our way to give thanks.
Our products are imported with the filter of "reuse and recycle." Our bombillas last decades as well as our mate cups. Join us as we seek to do our part to support ecological balance and environmentally smart farming practices.
Every bombilla has a different feel. Most South Americans have several in their collections. While these bombillas are mostly used for yerba mate, they can be used with any loose leaf tea.
